Marin Gardens Charity Program

In addition to being a positive influence in our member's lives, we also strive to be a positive influence in our local, regional and global community. This means supporting charities and organizations that are close to our patients' and staff members' hearts.

The main focus of this program is to create and nurture relationships with neighborhood and citywide organizations and programs. By offering both volunteer services and donations to a variety of charities, we are helping to implement positive solutions and create positive outcomes in people's lives.

At Marin Gardens we have donated to the following organizations:

Center for Domestic Peace, home of Marin Abused Women’s Services, mobilizes individuals and communities to transform our world so domestic violence no longer exists, creating greater safety, justice, and equality.

Ritter Center, based in downtown San Rafael, is a community-based nonprofit organization that has assisted Marin’s low-income and homeless population for over 30 years.  We help the homeless and very low-income residents of Marin – individuals and families – stabilize their lives by offering a number of social services.

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a national series of 39-mile weekend fundraising events launched in 2003 by the Avon Foundation. The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer event series is a project of the Avon Foundation for Women and is not affiliated with any other breast cancer organizations or programs such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure, American Cancer Society, or Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.

United Patients Group, the leading medical cannabis information and education site is dedicated to providing the most professional and safe resource for Medical Cannabis information.
