Marin Gardens Charity Program
In addition to being a positive influence in our member's lives, we also strive to be a positive influence in our local, regional and global community. This means supporting charities and organizations that are close to our patients' and staff members' hearts.
The main focus of this program is to create and nurture relationships with neighborhood and citywide organizations and programs. By offering both volunteer services and donations to a variety of charities, we are helping to implement positive solutions and create positive outcomes in people's lives.
At Marin Gardens we have donated to the following organizations:
Center for Domestic Peace, home of Marin Abused Women’s Services, mobilizes individuals and communities to transform our world so domestic violence no longer exists, creating greater safety, justice, and equality.
Ritter Center, based in downtown San Rafael, is a community-based nonprofit organization that has assisted Marin’s low-income and homeless population for over 30 years. We help the homeless and very low-income residents of Marin – individuals and families – stabilize their lives by offering a number of social services.
The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce is a member-based business advocacy organization providing a strong voice in support of the economic vitality of our community.
Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.
United Patients Group, the leading medical cannabis information and education site is dedicated to providing the most professional and safe resource for Medical Cannabis information.
In 1967, the Marin County Board of Supervisors designated CAM as the county’s official antipoverty agency. Our mandate was, and is, to eliminate the causes and consequences of poverty in Marin County. Community Action Marin has gained valuable experience in diagnosing poverty conditions and operating needed and responsive programs.
The purpose of West Marin Community Services is to support programs and services that ensure the well-being of individuals and families in West Marin. Self-sufficiency, human dignity and social justice are the values that guide our efforts.
Here at the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin County, our goal is straightforward: to provide services to those in Marin County who are struggling to make ends meet and might not otherwise receive help.
Legal Aid of Marin’s mission is to provide access to the civil justice system to low-income, vulnerable and otherwise underserved residents of Marin County. We strive for practical solutions to client problems through quality legal service.
The mission of the Sonoma County Growers Alliance is to collaborate with and educate businesses, individuals, government and regulatory bodies in the cannabis industry. We believe in developing and preserving the highest environmental, social and economic standards to ensure cannabis businesses participate within our community and thrive responsibility.
